Product decision filter

The test every proposed feature has to pass. It is deliberately short enough to apply in a planning conversation rather than a document review.

Before building a feature, ask:

“Is this needed by the musician?”

Then ask:

1. Does it make an important music workflow simpler?
2. Does it reduce switching between services?
3. Does it make the next step clearer?
4. Can the complexity stay behind the interface?
5. Does it belong in a music platform rather than a generic social network?
6. Does it preserve trust and transparency?

If the answer is consistently no, the feature does not belong in Bitrate.

A feature that passes this filter still has to respect the anti-principles — passing here is permission to build, not permission to build it any way at all.
